Elvira’s Story

Elvira was 15 and in the middle of chemotherapy when she came to camp.

With her doctor’s blessing, she spent a week at the KCCF International Camp in Azerbaijan. She laughed, made memories and simply got to be a teenager. For that week, cancer did not have to be the center of her world.

Elvira is still fighting. Camp gave her moments of joy, and a reminder of everything she is fighting to get back to.
